INTRODUCING DUSTY
My name is Dusty and I’m 12 years old. I live in Warren, NSW, and I live on a property outside of town with my mum, dad and my little brother Angus.
Little Wings owns Medical Wings, which sends paediatricians out to regional and remote towns, so families don’t have to travel which is great. But there are still so many kids waiting. Kids in towns like mine.
I want to walk from Warren to parliament house, Canberra to raise vital funds for Little Wings so they can bring more paediatricians to the regions and help more kids get the help they deserve.
Because I’ve seen what happens when you get help, I would like to speak with the Prime Minister, speaking on behalf of the kids in regional Australia. I invite kids around the state to support my cause.

DUSTY SCHOOL CHALLENGE
Students across Australia are invited to organise a Dollar For Dusty 1km School Oval Walk Fundraiser to help raise vital funds for Little Wings.
Simply register your school, choose a date to walk between 30 August and 14 September, and take steps to make a difference. By showing your support, you’ll help country kids access a local paediatrician through the Little Wings Medical Wings Program.
Walk together, give together, and help keep country kids connected to the care they need.

WHAT IS HAPPENING
Dusty is walking from Warren to Canberra, joined by his mother Sarah, Nurse Christine, Nichole, and Little Wings CEO Clare Pearson.
For two weeks, they will walk through Central West NSW, covering up to 40 kilometres a day to raise awareness for the Medical Wings Program. This walk will be the ultimate challenge, as the group braves the elements and walks each step with purpose, testing endurance, resilience and determination along the way.
Dusty is inviting local towns to join him on his mission, walk beside him, show your support, and help raise awareness for country kids needing access to vital paediatric care.
